Welcome

This project has created a unique opportunity for instrumentalists from Guildhall School and Royal Birmingham Conservatoire to share the stage and explore the writing of fellow students from both conservatoires.

I am very proud of my connection to both Guildhall School (visiting tutor from 2008–2020) and Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (student in the early 2000s and now a full-time lecturer) so I'm really looking forward to seeing the students work together to bring this project to fruition. These young people represent the next generation of musicians to enter the industry, so connections made during this project could lead to life-long creative collaborations.
